Portulaca
Portulaca, also known as “Jump Up and Kiss Me”, is a beautiful low-growing ground cover plant. It is easy to grow, loves full sun and is drought tolerant. Water them after planting and watch them grow, usually between 4 to 8 inches high. Portulaca flowers attract butterflies to your garden. They are excellent for outdoor containers, rock gardens, hanging baskets and along sidewalks. They will seed and spread themselves, but not to the point of being a nuisance.
