Adenium Obesum, commonly known as Desert Rose  is  easy to grow tropical succulent. It is characterized by longevity and great resistance to dryness. Adenium is popular ornamental garden plant, and often used for bonsai as it can grow in pots. It’s distinctive feature is the swollen trunk, which swells to conserve moisture for times of drought. Adenium needs regular watering, but cannot survive in standing water, so make sure the pot has proper drainage. In the garden choose a sunny location with some protection from midday sun with well-drained soil.
