Tibouchina Granulosa is one of the best flowering trees, blooming purple blossoms for most of the year. It is also called Purple Glory Tree or Princess Flower. It does not get very big, growing more like a big shrub and reaching an average of 15 feet, but it’s best kept around 8 to 10 feet tall. It will grow in full to partial sun. The Tibouchina Granulosa is one of the few types of Tibouchina that is more tolerant of sun. Regular watering is best, but be careful not to keep the tree too wet. The use of a fertilizer is recommended.
